Among the key points Mike Parmentier emphasized:
- if content is king, then context is queen
- it is not about technology, it is about culture and unlearning what we think we know to be true
- learners need to be central, it is about empowerment
- standards have matured and they work
- elearning works, but we need to take it to the next level
- training needs to be tied to the strategy and the bottom line
