Sun 3D desktop

I don’t think that we will have made much progress when Linux desktops emulate the current Microsoft Windows interface. It’s nice to see that SUN is at least trying to innovate beyond what they call the Java Desktop system with their project Looking Glass. Maybe I will live to see a mainstream 3D desktop after all?
