Yahoo creative commons

Yahoo has launched a “creative commons search” site. I couldn’t find any information about how it has selected sources to be included in its scope.

Of course, google has had its “scholar” for a while. According to their own information, they can be contacted to add additional sources to their scope.

Now here’s a thought: how about “learning.google.com” or “lom.yahoo.com”? One way to make this happen would be for initiatives such as the GLOBE learning object repository network to work with the likes of yahoo, google, msn search, etc. to get more folks to find the materials they offer. I wonder whether anyone has tried to make progress in this direction?
